Objectives

  • Support multidisciplinary research and capacity building in areas relevant to geriatric medicine across the partners
  • Provide a focus and framework to build research expertise in management of complex older patients in all local health district partners and across the wider health system
  • Combine skills of the partners to create a strong, new network that can facilitate multi-site clinical research to build capacity across SHP
  • Support early career researchers’ applications for scholarships, fellowships and translational research grants
