ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
Dr Karen Bracken is the Clinical Trial Program Lead at the Kolling Institute, University of Sydney where she oversees trial operations for the Osteoarthritis Clinical Research Group. With nearly two decades of experience in clinical trial coordination and management, she currently leads a team comprising trial assistants, coordinators, and project managers. Her research interests include enhancing the efficiency of clinical trials and promoting greater inclusion of diverse participant populations.
Izabella Pokorski is a Project Manager at Sydney Health Partners. She is a seasoned clinical trials professional with over ten years of experience in both site-based and university research settings. She has held diverse roles including coordinator, data manager, database designer, assessor, and manager, working in addiction medicine, neurodevelopment, and oncology. For the past five years, she has lectured in clinical trials for the Master of Brain and Mind Sciences, sharing her passion for research and clinical trials.
