Stronger together: tales of innovation and impact from Sydney Health Partners
It’s been a momentous year for everyone, including Sydney Health Partners. Covering the period since our last Impact Report was presented in May 2019, this publication reflects the reality that COVID-19 overshadowed all other considerations. We have, accordingly, dedicated the opening section of the report to the responses of our partners to the pandemic.
COVID-19 also influenced the choice of theme - Stronger Together – which is represented by woven strands of rope. Throughout the report you will find inspiring examples of the ways in which our partners have come together in new and innovative collaborations to strengthen translational research activity.
Here also are stories of our current Medical Research Future Fund projects, and examples of translational research that, after seed funding from SHP, have grown to make an impact on our mission of better healthcare outcomes.
We've been working to remove and reduce the barriers to the translation of research evidence into routine clinical practice for 5 years. Watch the videos below for examples of our impact, activity and case studies from our research and clinical communities.
