SHP Unveils Revamped Website and New Knowledge Hub

Sydney Health Partners (SHP) has launched a redesigned site as the first step towards a more comprehensive and interactive online experience and knowledge hub for its communities.

Published date:

The platform provides a single point of access to all of SHP’s resources, news, and events, with improved accessibility, navigation, and a more intuitive user experience.

At its core is an enhanced Knowledge Hub, offering multiple ways to access and organise resources on consumer involvement in research, clinical trials, research governance, implementation science, and more:

  • Filter & Search: Quickly find resources by audience, format, category, or type.
  • Curated Collections: Explore themed groups of resources curated by experts – such as Preparing for Consumer-Researcher Partnerships, Planning a Clinical Trial, and Health Economics in Implementation Science.
  • Create Your Own Collection: Bookmark and save resources to a personal collection.
  • Knowledge Pathways: Learn topics in a structured progression from fundamentals to advanced concepts.

The revamped site is also designed to provide greater visibility of the varied work underway among SHP’s Clinical Academic Groups.

Providing Feedback

“The new site is the product of feedback from our Partners. We engaged with a range of stakeholders—from consumers to clinician researchers to research operational staff from across our network — to better understand their online needs,” said SHP Executive Director, Professor Don Nutbeam AO.

We’re committed to continuously improving the site and look forward to the progressive introduction of new experiences for website users.

Visitors are encouraged to provide feedback using buttons under individual resources on the Knowledge Hub or by completing a brief online survey.

First Knowledge Pathway now available

As part of the refreshed website, SHP has developed what it hopes will be the first of many new knowledge pathways.

The Introduction to Implementation Science online pathway provides a clear and accessible introduction to the principles, models and frameworks of implementation science.

Developed by SHP’s Implementation Science Academy Leads—the free and self-paced resource is designed for health care professionals, researchers, graduate students and decision-makers seeking to translate research innovations into clinical practice and real-world impact.
