More than just participants, consumers can have a powerful impact on planning and designing a successful Consumer Advisory Panel.

Following the enthusiastic response to previous webinars we are pleased to welcome multiple guest speakers from a variety of backgrounds in the consumer space to share their experiences and lessons learned.

Dr Janelle Bowden who has 20+ years of experience working in and around clinical trial operations in Australia and overseas. Janelle’s social enterprise, AccessCR, provides clinical trial and consumer engagement to support, build capacity, connect and advocate for consumer and community needs.

Dr Stephanie Partridge is a NHMRC/National Heart Foundation Research Fellow and Accredited Practising Dietitian at the University of Sydney. Her research vision is to minimise the harms and harness the benefits of digital technologies to improve adolescents’ lifestyle behaviours and tell us about developing and establishing a youth Consumer Advisory Group.

Brian Dalton will present on Research Ethics Committee – Ethical consumer-centred Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) and Brad Rossiter will tell us about his personal experience in being involved in establishing a consumer group.
