The Australian Health Research Alliance's Consumer and Community Involvement (CCI) Initiative is co-led by Sydney Health Partners and the Western Australian Health Translation Network. It aims to embed the involvement of consumers and the community in health and medical research policy and practice. Work to date has developed a number of resources - including a handbook of practical steps for CCI to guide stakeholders and organisations, a knowledge hub of ideas, knowledge, tools, research and activities in a central online space, and an analysis of tools that assess CCI in health research.
